🎁"Moby Dick" Tea Set
A hand-built porcelain set for brewing Chinese pressed tea. The maker finished reading Moby-Dick and made it in memory of the white whale.
The set has four pieces: a cup with a round handle, a lid topped with a whale tail, a porcelain infuser with fine perforations, and a saucer. The matte glaze is blue with cream at the top and bottom, and the line between the colors runs unevenly, like a horizon over the sea.
Every piece is shaped by hand, without a potter's wheel, so the form and the glaze line differ slightly from set to set.

Handcrafted Ceramic Chopstick Rests (Hashioki) — Museum Series "Islands"

Unique, one-of-a-kind handcrafted chopstick rests. More than just functional tableware, each piece is a miniature table sculpture combining Eastern aesthetics with a personal story.
Every rest features a fluid, organic shape covered in a striking crystalline glaze with a subtle crackle effect ("cracked ice"), creating the illusion of deep, still water or a raw mineral slice.
Featured Designs in the Series:
  • "Turquoise Harbor" (with Turtle): A deeply personal piece. A small turtle head gently emerges from the soft turquoise glaze. Modeled after our family pet turtle, this piece carries a warm, living energy and a touch of home.
  • "Dark Reef": A deep, dark-emerald island with a 3D natural stone relief breaking through the smooth surface of the water.
  • "Sand Dune": Warm caramel-sand tones framed by a dark edge, echoing a slice of rare mineral or a peaceful shoreline.
Specifications:
  • Material: High-fired ceramics, artistic glazes
  • Use: Rest for Asian chopsticks (hashioki), miniature sauce dish, or an aesthetic table art piece
  • Style: Wabi-sabi, natural minimalism, museum-grade craft
  • Exclusivity: 100% hand-molded. Exact reproduction of the glaze patterns and shape is impossible.
Perfect For:
Aesthetic Asian dinners, lovers of original artisan ceramics, and thoughtful, meaningful gifts.

Glazed porcelain
10 x 8 x 4 cm

Blue-and-white porcelain artefacts from the past tells us a lot about our ancestors - things they cared about, the world they lived, and the way they thought. Be it good times or bad times, craftspeople never cease to make things with their hands that are both functional and visually appealing. Inspired by a beautiful crafted Ming porcelain paintbrush case, I designed a lidded box for putting luncheon meat, a beloved canned food.

A collection of handmade ceramics created in the Fouris studio.
Each piece is a small sculpture or decorative form in which light meets shadow, and the warmth of clay meets the cold of winter. We do not repeat familiar holiday motifs. Instead, these are forms that hold silence: candles, candlesticks, small compositions and vessels in which fire becomes part of the sculpture.
The materials are chamotte and ceramic. The surfaces are left alive — rough in places, smooth in others, with gentle transitions of colour. The objects are meant to stand beside a person — on a table, on a shelf, by a window — without demanding attention, yet quietly changing the space around them.
The collection is made in small series. Every piece passes through the hands of the artist and carries the traces of handwork. This is not mass-produced décor, but objects that can remain long after the holidays have passed.
Moments in Space
An artist from Hong Kong created a small ceramic penguin sculpture for me. A special mould was made, and the piece was kiln-fired. The sculpture was produced by a person who truly loves her craft and is a professional in her field.

Shop / Author Objects
The works presented in the shop are produced in a limited edition and are part of the “But Why” project.
Each sculpture is handmade by an artist from Hong Kong who works with fine ceramics. Special ceramic clay is used, and the pieces are professionally kiln-fired.
The forms and concepts of the objects are based on my original sketches. Thus, each work is the result of a dialogue between artistic intention and handcrafted execution.
Biography.

About the Author & CollectionWe are delighted to present the exclusive handmade pieces created within our collaboration.
Andrii Stopin’s path in art began with the classical school and an academic art education. Graduating with honors from the Faculty of Painting, Andrii deeply studied sculpture and drawing, while learning from the honored artists of Ukraine. This powerful foundation provided an impeccable understanding of form and an innate inner discipline.
Over time, our creative practice expanded beyond academic boundaries. We have actively participated in exhibitions, experimented with various mediums, and today work at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and performance art, exploring the interaction between human and space. Our projects raise vital questions within an international context, backed by numerous publications and letters of recommendation.
The Artisan’s Philosophy & ProcessSui Chi Pak is an artist and master of fine ceramics. Every piece here is created with soul and a profound conceptual approach: it is not merely applying lines to a surface, but a delicate, meaningful process. All objects undergo a complex technological journey and are fired in a specialized kiln, making them both durable and entirely unique.
Why This Project Matters to UsAs the producers and curators of this project, our goal is to bring fine academic art and the artist's spirit of freedom into tangible, warm interior objects. This collection is a synergy of the artisan’s years of experience, her intricate creative quest, and our shared passion for unique creations. Each piece here is not just decor, but a true manifesto of living, profound art in your home.
Warm regards,
Andrii Stopin & Sui Chi Pak
